AWANA is Creekside's discipleship program for children preschool-6th grade. AWANA helps children to learn God's word, study the bible, and have fun with their peers on a mid-week night.

Our AWANA Kids Club kicks off in September and meets Wednesdays from 6:30pm to 8pm.
*We serve dinner each Wednesday night beginning at 6:00pm. Hot dogs, corn dogs, taquitos or chicken nuggets will be served each week on a rotating schedule for $1 per serving.

About the club:

There are three clubs at AWANA, specifically designed to teach children about Jesus at their appropriate age levels. 

Club Information

The AWANA season begins in  September and newcomers are always welcome and can register online or on any Wednesday night at 6pm. Returning clubbers must re-register each year. 
  • When you begin coming to Club, we will give you an entrance booklet to study and recite from.  Once you have completed the entrance booklet, you will receive a handbook to begin working in.  The cost of the  handbooks are:  Cubbies $12.50, Sparks $12.50, and Truth & Training $12.50. Prices are subject to change
Both online and paper registration is available. 

Dues

  • There are no "dues" required for attending AWANA.  However, each clubber is encouraged to bring $.75 each week to help support our AWANA missionaries.  The $.75 also is used to help defray the cost of weekly prizes we give to winning teams.
  • You may pre-pay your yearly dues for $20.00.  This saves $4.00.
  • We are happy to supply your children with the uniform awards they earn throughout the year.  Awards that become lost may be replaced at a nominal cost by contacting your child's leader.

Uniforms, Books, and Bags

  • The AWANA uniform lets others know you are a member of your club.  Wearing a uniform is not required, but if you have a uniform to display all of your awards, it will be more meaningful.  You can order a uniform as soon as you complete the requirements for membership, which are completing your entrance booklet.
  • Wear your complete uniform each week for the club meeting.  Make sure you attach your awards to it as soon as possible!  We encourage all clubbers to wear gym-type shoes as part of the uniform.  Also, we recommend that the clubbers wear modest length shorts or long-pants.  This is for safety on the Game Circle.  Sparks must wear long pants.
  • The prices of uniforms, books, & bags are:
    • Cubbies Vest - $14.00 / Cubbies Book - $12.50 / Cubbies Bag - $8.00  
    • Sparks Uniform - $14.00 / Sparks Book - $12.50 / Sparks Bag - $8.00 
    • Truth & Training Shirts - $20.00  / Truth & Training Book - $12.50
